She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Fehr and Hulda Fehr (Bahr); her husband Robert "Bob" Bates; and her cousins, Donald Bahr, Barbara Baker and Janice Bahr.
She is survived by : her children, Jean Maze (Kirk) of Elephant Butte, NM, Sandra Fisher (Mark) of Cocoa, FL, Vickie Sieczkowski (Dave) of Ravenna, NE, Terresa Mack (Michael) of Clayton, NM and Russell Bates (Cindy) of Aztec, NM.; her brothers-in-law, Harold "Jim" Bates of Golden, CO. and Jerry Bates; and her great grandchild Sierra Romolo. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 24 (soon to be 25) great-grandchildren.
