He is survived by: his significant other Kandace Anders; his daughters, Kelsey Thomsen (Kris) and Kaitlyn Hamrick (Ginger); his grandchildren, Nathan, Madilyn and William "Liam" Martin; and his sister Kellie Scherrer (Don).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel (3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly welcomes donations to St. Jude's in Marty's honor.
