Rita Rae Groess Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 26, 2025, at the age of 91, Rita Rae Groess of Lakewood, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Peddicord and Robert R. Peddicord; her brothers, Rob, Gerald, Leo, Tom and Ellis "Bud"; and her granddaughter Baily.
She is survived by: her husband Erich; her daughters, Heidi Hart (Steve) and Ursula Hedlund; her grandchildren, Caly Hedlund and Connor Hart; and her pets, Tito and Chewie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; extended family near and far; and many dear friends.
