It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Petersen (Lakewood, Colorado), who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sibling Moya Henderson (Mike Henderson); and his spouse Shannon Connelly. He is survived by: his parents, Michele and Roger Petersen; his children, Megan Petersen and David Petersen; his grandson Julian Petersen; his siblings, Joen Petersen (Mary Ellen) and Rifki Petersen; his parents-in-law, Ed and Peg Connelly; his siblings-in-law, Eddie Connelly and Kathleen Huss (Brian Huss); his nieces and nephews, Shanti, Jimmy, Chris, Rockie, Kendra, Jessica, Holly, Ella and Johnny; his great-nephew Derek; his great-niece Adeline; and his girlfriend Kelli Reed. He is also survived by his kids and grandson.

In lieu of flowers, his family has set up an education fund for his grandson Julian.
