It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley Nielson of Lakewood, Colorado, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Nielson and Ruth Nielson (Haney); his former wife Leola Aufdengarten; his sons, Steve and Syd; his wife Patricia; and his brothers-in-law, Clark McConnell and Ellery Aufdengarten.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Nielson (Patti) of Lakewood, Colorado, Stacy Ross (Kerry) of Conifer, Colorado and Stuart Nielson (Kim) of Lakewood, Colorado.; his sister Mary McConnell of Hurst, Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Simpson and Debbie Aufdengarten. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Arthur County Cemetery (205 Fir St, Arthur, NE 69121).
