He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Joy and Dorothy Joy (Porter); his wife Carol Briggs; and his siblings, Dean Joy, Kathleen Joiner and Donald Joy.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Joy, Cheryl Ready (Randy) and Karen Joy; his grandchildren, Heather Kelly (Andy), Brian Lang, Timothy Ready (Jamie) and Jeffrey "J. J." Ready; and his great grandchildren, Easton Kelly, LeAnna Kelly and Ryker Ready.
