He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert (Lucile Sontag) and Bill. He is survived by: his wife Angeles Ortega; his son Robert Sontag; his daughter-in-law Marci Sontag; his daughter Deborah Hamelin; his son-in-law Travis Hamelin; and his sister Kathy Beck (Sontag).
