The memory of Art Lawrence of Lamar, Colorado, born in Como, Tennessee, who passed away on April 30, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Carroll and Henry Etta Lawrence (Bucy); his daughter Lori Lawrence; his stepfather Pete Driskill; his siblings, Bill and J. C. Lawrence; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Sharp, Gid Semmens, Bob Davis, Mary Lou Semmens and Margaret Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Lawrence; his children, David Lawrence (Bree May) of Lamar, CO and Brenda Wilson (PJ) of Lamar, CO; his grandchildren, Ashley Lawrence (Julian Carrillo) of Lamar, CO, Alexi Montoya (Kenneth) of Lamar, CO, Aubrey Lawrence of East Lansing, MI, Breanna Lawrence-Wilson of Eads, CO, Cody Entz (Swayzee) of Lamar, CO, Kevin Wilson (Jami) of Hartman, CO and Katelyn Beevers (Wayne) of Salida, CO.; his great grandchildren, Grace Montoya, Kyson Montoya, Baby Montoya, Henry Entz, Easton Wilson, Deklynn Goldsberry, Bryson Goldsberry, Elsie Beevers and Dawson Beevers; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred Sharp, Rowena Lawrence and Estalee Lawrence. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
