Barbara LaVonne Cancino Obituary
Barbara LaVonne Cancino, 86, passed away March 15, 2018. Born on Jan. 3, 1932, to the union of Alvah and Mabel (Cooley) Morgan, now deceased; as are Barbara's
siblings excepting for a sister, Carol Huey, of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 wonderfully memorable years,
Frank Cancino; daughter, Rebecca Shields; grandchildren, Hyrum Webb, Alysa Webb, Kathleen Shields, Hannah (Ross) Krischel and Zachariah Shields; and great-grandsons,
Matthew and Samuel Cole. Barbara took much pride in having done volunteer work for the Pueblo Probation Service and the Candle Lighters Association, from
whom she received very nice commendations. Barbara was a member of Centennial Chapter 58 Order of the Eastern Star, Pikes Peak Court No. 20 Order of the
Amaranth, The Social Order of Beauceant No. 11, White Shrine of Jerusalem and The Dames of Malta. She had a wonderful talent of remembering dates, times,
and places of so many events and was known by the family as the walking calendar. She had a delightful voice and was known for her singing talent, which
she even used at home within the last few months. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo,
with Elder Jim Billings officiating. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Vision Professional Services,
