We bid farewell to Edna Schwartz of Lamar, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Edna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edna shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edna farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smith and Eunice Smith (Copeland); her former husband Harvey Bingham; her husband Lester Schwartz; and her sons, Joseph Gale Bingham and Billy Charles Bingham.
She is survived by: her brothers, Jerry and John Smith; her daughter Angela Bingham of Lamar, CO; and her sister Jo Martinez (Sam) of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wiley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
