He was predeceased by: his mother Margarita Perez (Lujan); his father-in-law Donald "Don" Gamble; and his grandmother Carlota Perez. He is survived by: his father Astolfo Perez of Lamar, CO; his wife Angelene Perez; his children, Zadryan Perez and Zadaya Perez; his mother-in-law Barbara Gamble of Lamar, CO; his siblings, Maricela Perez, Aiden Perez, Francesca Perez, Luis Leon, Aimee Perez, Luis Holguin, Victor Holguin, Guadalupe Holguin, Marisol Holguin and Edgar Holguin; his brother-in-law Jared Smith (Rebecca); and his uncle Eduardo Perez (Magdalena). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Calendar Peacock Family Chapel (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Lamar Christian Church (811 S Main St, Lamar, CO 81052).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
