He was predeceased by: his parents, Guthra Henson and Lois Henson (Walker); his stepfather Lowell Hanson; and his siblings, Dale Hanson, Ron Hanson, Cathy Mathews and Dolores Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Henson; his sons, David Henson (Melody) of Lafayette, IN and Gary Wayne Henson (Annette) of Lamar, CO; and his granddaughters, Shawna Nelson of Lamar, CO., Sondra Stewart (Jordan) of Lamar, CO., Sara Snapp of Lamar, CO., Amy Mulaney (Mike) of Lamar, CO. and Brittany Henson of Lamar, CO.. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Eagles Lodge either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
