James McGee Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James McGee of Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna McGee; his siblings-in-law, Donna Cribari, Dorothy Hanks-Sterling and Grant Hanks; his parents-in-law, Grant and Evelyn Hanks (Schwisow); his sister Margaret Ann Murray (Leon); and his son-in-law Harvey Drake.
He is survived by: his children, Dixie Drake of Garden City, KS, Kim McGee (Brenda) of Brighton and Joe McGee of Lamar, Colorado; his grandchildren, Trey, Amber (Ray), Kayla, Tyler, Nicole (Ty) and Robert (Coli); and his great grandchildren, Skieger, Camrin, Sophia, Tabor, Dalles, Kaden, Lillee and Leyton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bristol Grace Fellowship Church (106 N. 2nd Street, Bristol, CO 81047). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Hartman Cemetery.
