She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvarietta Polhemus (Gilliam) and Edgar C. Polhemus; her daughter Muriel Ann Rebecca Widener; her former husband David Jerome Blanton; and her brothers, David, Edgar, Reed and Frank Polhemus.
She is survived by: her children, David Blanton (Kim) and Dana Blanton Di Iorio (Nicholas); and her grandchildren, Melissa Blanton Jackson, Jonathan Blanton, Whitney Blanton George, Aaron Widener, Riley Widener and Darcy Widener Burge. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Instead of flowers and tree donations, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Amache Preservation Society (amache.org) or the Lamar United Methodist Church (https://www.lamarumc.org).
