She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose B. Montoya and Ofrecenia Montoya (Chavez); and her siblings, Demetrio Montoya, Carmen Montoya and Abel Montoya.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Delores Adame (August) of Lamar, Christina Granados (John) of Lamar, Abel Montoya of Lamar and Martin Montoya of La Junta; her sister-in-law Antonia Montoya of Lamar; and her nibling Demetri Montoya of Lamar, CO.. She is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Peacock Family Chapel (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
