As Melodie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Melodie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melodie leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Richardson and Lorene Richardson; and her siblings, Melvin Richardson (Gloria Sydney), Marvin Richardson (Pattie) and Luella Richardson.

She is survived by: her sisters, Karilyn Richardson and Marilyn Roy (John) of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews.
