She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Torrez and Concepcion Torrez (Loya); and her sisters, Concepcion Zavala, Rosa Torrez, Irma Torrez, Theodora Mendoza, Ermenia Mendoza (Pino) and Guadalupe Camacho.
She is survived by: her husband Everardo Alvarez; her children, Elizabeth Enciso, Lee Torres, Paul Torrez, San Juanita Lee (Chris), Mary McDonough (Darrell), Jesus Torres, Steve Torres and Micheal Torres; her grandchildren, Domonick Torres, Elyssia Puga, Asia Merchant, Pablo Puga, Alize Torres, Jeremiah Torres, Josiah Torres, Lexi Feske, Darian McDonough, Sahrya Torres, Marilena Lee, Dymond Torres, Gauge Lee, Gabriel Torres, Brayden Torres, Paislee Torres, Zuleyka Morales, Evva Torres, Damien Torres, Charlie Feske and Aarian Torres; her great grandchildren, Spencer Puga, Aria Merchant, Danny Torres, Liliegh Puga, Lazarus Torres, Adelia Licano, Alexander Merchant, Scarlett Puga and Yadeli Licano; her siblings, Juana Alaniz, Emilia Ramos (Armando), Leticia Rodriguez (Daniel), Maricela Torrez (Isabel), Criselda Morales, Lorenzo Torrez (Delores) and Marcelo Torrez (Mary); and her nieces, Angel Torres (Cheyenne), Anaisha Lozano and Justice Torres. She is also survived by her grandchildren, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peacock Family Chapel (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A prayer was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Frances de Sales/ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (600 E Parmenter St, Lamar, CO 81052). A Mass was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ramona Alvarez Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
