He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Darnell; his sons, Ricky Darnell (Jackie) of Corpus Christi and Roy Darnell (Laurie) of Holly, Colorado; his grandchildren, Curtis Darnell (Luna), Zachary Darnell, Kent Darnell (Angela), Ashley Nily (Brandon), Robert Darnell (Kayla), Lacey Beard (Evan) and Haylee Darnell; and his brothers, Jimmy Darnell (Donna) and Freddy Darnell. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
