It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert William Emick of Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Emick and Laura Emick (Hasser); his siblings, Geneva Mosher, Evelyn Schultheis, Lorraine Gittings, Tony Emick, Mary Emick, Helen Conley, Virginia Schmitt, Peggy Oswald and Patsy Winsor; his son-in-law Todd Even; his grandson Vincent Emick; and his great grandchild Presley Raye Emick.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Emick; his brother Jim Emick (Dee); his brother-in-law Jerry Oswald; and his children, Steven Emick (Lisa), Donald Emick (Tana), David Emick (Donna), Michael Emick, Greg Emick (Julie Hollingsworth), Tim Emick (Mindy), Tammy Even (Buck Davis) and Kenneth Emick (Kelly). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
