He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mayo and Sheila Hamm; and his brother Tony. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Myers, Thomas Mayo, Tyler Mayo, Gabby Mayo, Jessica Mayo and Molly Mayo; his siblings, Ami and Michael; his cousin Kory; and his close friend Ron Howe.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fossil Creek Park Oval Pavilion (5821 S Lemay Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80525).
