We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2025, at the age of 88, Eldon Schmitt of Larkspur, Colorado passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. Though Eldon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eldon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Schmitt and Esther Schmitt; and his wives, Fredericka (Zabel) and Janice (Cameron). He is survived by: his close friend Diane; his daughter Linda; his sister Melva; and his stepchildren, Zach, Jeff and Kelli. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
A committal service will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236).
