He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Brookshire and Mary Naomi Brookshire (Hill). He is survived by: his children, Deborah, Joe (Linda) of Craig and David of Nebraska; his grandchildren, Graham Roberts (Tiffani), Paige Roberts, Shawn Brookshire (Alesha), Ryan Brookshire (Alexia), Riley Brookshire (Samantha) and Jesse Brookshire; his great grandchildren, Marie, William Roberts, Luke, Kian Brookshire, Renee, Willa Brookshire, Ivan, Isla Chavez, Bryce and Kate Brookshire; and his caregivers, Lora Stockman and Trina Tousley.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grant Mortuary (621 Yampa Ave, Craig, CO 81625).
