He is survived by: his parents, Luis Melendez and Tara Melendez (Martinez); his son Ezekiel Melendez; his siblings, Jonathon Melendez of Las Animas, Colorado and Angelica Harrison (James) of Arizona; his nephews, James and Paul Harrison; and his grandparents, Angel, Mary Melendez of Las Animas, Colorado, Elaine Martinez of Las Animas and Archie Martinez of La Junta, Colorado. He is also survived by many other relatives and a host of friends.
