She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Muniz and Lucy Medina (Martinez); her son Richard Anthony Medina (Lisa) of La Junta; her sister Frances Trujillo; and her in-laws, Paul and Annie Medina.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Medina; her children, Deb Medina of La Junta, Pat Medina Camacho (Anthony) of Colorado City, Cindy Collins (Larry) of Las Animas and Jeanette Torrez of Las Animas; her sister Jean Apodaca of La Junta; and her sister-in-law Linda Trujillo (Manuel) of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
