Larry Mitchell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Mitchell of Las Animas, Colorado, who passed away on January 4, 2026 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mitchell and Nellie Mitchell (Kindrick); his stepmother Adalyn Mitchell; his brothers, Howard Mitchell and Gerald Mitchell; his niece Tayla; and his nephews, Tony and Andy.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mitchell; his children, Mick Mitchell (Rachael) and Andrea Keck (Drew); his grandchildren, Abbi Jamison, Will Mitchell, Wyatt Keck, Kayli Keck and Ryder Keck; his sisters, Charlotte Paas (Dale), Charlene Dietz (Mitch) and Cindy Kitson (Terry); and his sister-in-law Melody Mitchell Krei (Steve).
