He was predeceased by: his parents, Sostenes Ybarra and Audrey Ybarra (Cortinez); and his brothers, Bobby Ybarra and Sammy Ybarra. He is survived by: his wife Lilly Ybarra; his children, Richard A. Ybarra of Las Animas, Marlene Ybarra of Las Animas and Jason Ybarra of La Junta, Colorado; his grandchildren, Savanna Arellano (Eddie) of Pueblo West, Shane Smith of Pueblo West, Jacob Arguello-Ybarra of New Mexico, Aliesia (Lupe) and Malia Ybarra of La Junta, Colorado; his great grandchildren, Aubree and Aveah Arellano; and his siblings, Steve Ybarra of Denver, Colorado, Bernice Ybarra (Frank) of Denver, Colorado, Danny Medina (Lola) of Denver, Colorado and Jeanette Langford (Marlon) of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Fort Lyon National Cemetery (15700 Co Rd HH, Las Animas, CO 81054).
