She is survived by: her children, Florencio Jr. Cortez (Andrea) of Pueblo, Cecilia Cortez of Falcon, Susana Aguilar of Las Animas, Rebecca Pena (Michael) of La Junta, Albert Cortez (Makayla) of Las Animas and Hector Cortez (Valerie) of Greeley, Colorado; and her siblings, Jimmy Valdez (Carmen) of Pueblo, Joseph Valdez (Tristin) of Albuquerque, Dicky Valdez of Las Vegas, Ricky Valdez of Denver, Dino Valdez of La Junta, Randy Valdez (Joslyn) of Las Vegas and Diana Archuleta of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
