He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Tony Richards and Nola Richards; his wife Mary Lou; his children, Teresa Wilson (Jamie), Tim (Linda), Tom (Julie) and Gina McCall (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kristin (Anderson), Lisa Rocco (Nik), Ryan Erbstoesser (Kelly), Justin Erbstoesser, Christopher Wilson, Danielle Wilson, Tyler Richards (Michaela) and Alex Richards; his great grandchildren, Vincent Summers and Emily Erbstoesser; his daughter Jo Ann; and his granddaughter Shannon Wilson.
