It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Akers Cox of Limon, Colorado, who passed away on January 19, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Carl Campbell and Mildred Berger Campbell; her brothers, John and Louis; her husband Paul Akers; her children, Mary, Cathy, John, Donna, Doug, Paula and Jim; and also England (Israel). She was also cherished by seven children and their spouses, 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other younger family members.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either, Hi-Plains Baptist church, 1001 H Avenue, Limon, Colorado 80828, or Limon Heritage Society, P.O. Box 341, Limon, Colorado, 80828.
