It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Koehn (Limon, Colorado), born in Syracuse, Kansas, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Simon H. Koehn and Barbara Helen Koehn; his daughter Jeanie; his wife Joyce Jean of Limon; his son Douglas James Koehn (Joni) of Limon; his grandson Douglas Keith Koehn (Stevie); his great grandchildren, Aniya Mae and Azalea Rae of Honolulu, Hawaii; his grandchildren, Holly Renae Koehn of Limon and James Tyler Koehn (Katie); his great grandchild Kip James of Limon; his son-in-law Robert Mark Stamm (Carol) of Anchorage, Alaska; his granddaughter Elizabeth Anne Rue (Kevin); his great grandchild Emma June of Los Alamos; his granddaughter Stephanie Jean Holmquist (Max); his great grandchildren, Soren James and Henrik Robert of Anchorage, Alaska; his daughter Lisa Jo Ann Yowell (Lynn) of Limon; his granddaughter Amie Marie Albrecht (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Brenleigh Rae and Tanner Drew of Wilber, Nebraska; and his grandson Dilan Edward Yowell (Stephanie) of San Antonio, Texas. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and great friends.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Limon Memorial Fund in Jim's name.
