He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ellen Mowrey; his children, Kim Gishwiller of Golden, CO, Jeff Gishwiller (Jeni) of Boerne, TX, Tom Gishwiller (Irene) of Chino Hills, CA, Jim Gishwiller (Nancy) of Monument, CO and Janda Bliek (Scott) of Castle Rock, CO.; his grandchildren, Melissa, Brandon, Mindy, Kaitlin (Brady), Jacob (Lily), Marriah, Alexander (Johnna), Nathan, Rory, Sean, Jonah, Cassandra (Aaron), Holland, Brody and Eli; and his great grandchild Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Horan & McConaty (3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80227). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wilcox Cemetery.
