He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Kennedy and Maxine Kennedy; his sister Susan Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, John Jennette, Frank Gilmore and Connie Gauthier.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Jo Kennedy; his children, Michael Sean Kennedy and Juli Ann Phelan; his son-in-law Martin Patrick Phelan; his grandchildren, Andrew Martin Phelan, Matthew Austin Phelan and Rachel Kennedy Phelan; his siblings, Judith Canfield (Clay), Charles Kennedy (Carol) and Anne Jennette; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Gilmore and Joyce Young.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 2:30 PM.
Reception with family and friends to follow the Graveside Service up to 2:30 at Roxborough Park Foundation Building, 6237 Roxborough Drive, Littleton, CO 80125.
