We announce the death of Floyd Sidney Ditson (Littleton, Colorado), who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 98. Floyd will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Floyd will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Floyd will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Floyd’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Ditson and Edna Grace Ditson; his brothers, Donald of Frankfort, IN and Alan Laverne of Bertrand, NE.; his former wife Margaret Hilderbrand; his children, Roland, Dana and Matthew; and his grandchild Kaia. He was also cherished by his six children, two brothers, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Foothills Bible Church (6100 S Devinney Way, Littleton, CO 80127).
