He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Holmstead and Evelyn Holmstead; his stepsister Donna; his brother Von; his former wife LuJeanne Hacking; his daughter-in-law Heidi (Gary Lynn); and his great grandchild Brennan.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Crook Christiansen; his children, Gary Lynn (Barbara), Michelle (Gérard), Stephen (Kendra), Bruce (Lorena) and Shawn (Janel); his stepchildren, Leslie (Scott) and Kevin; and his sisters, Kathy (Clint) and Shery. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Clement Park Ward LDS Chapel (9227 W Dartmouth Pl, Lakewood, CO 80227). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Utah Cemetery.
