He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cindy; his sons, John (Laura) of Denver and David (Stephanie) of Malmø; his granddaughters, Charlotte and Olivia; his father Jeppe; his sister Pia; his in-laws, Doris, David (Amy), Laureen (Gabriel) and Deanna (Joseph); his uncle Ole; and his brother-in-law Steen. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Prostate Cancer Research Institute or American Heart Association in Jan's honor.
