Jürgen Helmüt Piehl Obituary

We bid farewell to Jürgen Helmüt Piehl (Littleton, Colorado), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Jürgen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jürgen Helmüt Piehl to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Karoline Elisabeth Gudehus and Hans Albert Wilhelm Piehl; and his wife Ann. He is survived by: his brother Joachim (Hamburg); his grandchildren, Chris, Addie and Greta; his children, Nicole (Jim) and Chris (Wendy); and his granddaughters, Adeline, Margaret (Greta) and Clara Jane.

From San Diego, he would head out on 24-hour boats in search of halibut, yellowfin and bluefin tuna, and albacore—often donating much of his catch to the Rescue Mission since his family wasn't fond of fish.
