He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Posciak Brzeczek. He is survived by: his father Ed Brzeczek; his wife Carol; his children, Andy Brzeczek and Jessica Teller; his son-in-law Tim Teller; his grandchildren, Eli, Olivia and Gabriel; and his sister Dorislyn Brzeczek Silby.
