In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Martin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Martin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Martin; and his in-laws, Paul and Gayle Hoberg. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his daughters, Maeve and Madeline; his mother Sue Schmitzer; his siblings, Mark Schmitzer (Jen) and Christine Huber (Joe); and his brother-in-law Alan Hoberg (Julie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews which he adored; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - South Metro/Centennial (5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122).
