She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold N. Banks and Winnetta Marie Banks; her husband John W. Burdan, Jr.; and her children, Nancy Serl Burdan and Andrew Curtis Burdan.
She is survived by: John William Burdan III (Bridget), Rachel Ann Burdan, Hope Malone Burdan and Mark Stephan Burdan (Tami). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the building fund of the Sacred Heart of Jesus School, with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
