She was predeceased by: her parents, Veva McDevitt (Shelton) and James Ferris McDevitt; and her siblings, Robin, James, Stacey and Nina.

She is survived by: her husband Douglas Peltier; her daughter Robin Dirks (Stan); her grandchildren, Julia, Rebecca, Vivian and Alexander; and her siblings, Charles McDevitt (Barbara), Debra Wietecha (Dennis), Edith Anstead (Wayne) and Kitty Joiner (Steve). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
