He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnham Gossett and Esther Gossett; and his grandson Matthew Gossett. He is survived by: his wife Sue Prater Gossett; his children, David (Diane Gossett), Daniel (Stephanie Gossett), Joel (Ann Gossett) and Kathryn (Phillip Miner); his grandchildren, Zoe Gossett, Alaina Gossett, Phillip Fettig, Donald Fettig, Julie Mercer, Edward (Lanea Gossett), Joseph (Vanessa Gossett), Sarah (Jason Winder), Jonathan (Jillian Miner), Anna (Andrew Ritchie), Emily (Nathan Martin), Amy Miner and Mark Fettig; Barbara Cotts Gossett. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
