He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Murray and Florence Murray; his wife Ruth Murray; his sons, Douglas Murray Jr. and Brian Murray; and his brother Kenneth Murray.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Murray; his sister Barbara Blanton; his brother-in-law Timothy Blanton; and his sister Laura Bocco. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
