She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Startzell (Anderson) and Frank Startzell; her husband Hal Meier; and her siblings, Frank Startzell, Jr. and Dorothy Grafinger.

She is survived by: her children, Melissa Lyons (Mike), Keith Meier (Sally), Gary Meier (Pam) and Jennifer Baker; her grandchildren, Rob Stuart, Amanda Stuart, Christina Hirsh (Ivan), Adam Meier (Samantha), Stephanie Meier, Lauren Khan (Sam), Megan Meier, Brandon Baker, Wesley Baker (Krystal) and Levi Baker; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Delfosse, Natalie Delfosse, Mason Hirsh, Jeremiah Hirsh, Nicholas Hirsh and Irene Meier. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
