He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Sawdey and Gladys Sawdey; his wife Sandy Sawdey; and his brothers, James Sawdey and Robert "Bob" Sawdey (Sherry).
He is survived by: his son Scott Sawdey (Renee); his sisters, Inez Sawdey and Doris Sawdey; his grandchildren, Jacob Sawdey, Dustin Sawdey and Sierra Sawdey; his nephews, Richard Sawdey (Maria) and Lee Sawdey (Kristine); his great-nephews, Robert Sawdey and T. J. Sawdey; and his cousin Judy Lyda.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Howe Mortuary & Crematory (439 Coffman St, Longmont, CO 80501).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Honor Flight or TRU Community Care Hospice.
