He is survived by: his wife Brigitte Hennig; and his children, Rolf Hennig (Mattie), Berndt Hennig (Cheryl), Erik Hennig and Monika Dunne (Tom). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
