He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Schleeter and Opal Schleeter (Everett Schleeter); his parents-in-law, Bonnie and Kermit Edlund; and his sister Linda Tiedje.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Schleeter of Longmont; his children, Jamie Schleeter and Sara Kempter (Tim) of Longmont; and his grandchildren, Tori Whitney (Connor), Dylan, Aydyn Schleeter and Haley Kempter of Longmont. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
