She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Gerken and Bonnie Gerken (Tritz). She is survived by: her children, Dr. Daniel Ward (Catherine), Steven Ward (Kendra), James Ward (Cheryl), David Ward (Jodi), Mark Ward (Megan), Monica Ward and Matthew Ward (Melissa); and her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kevin, Nathan, Amanda, Ashley, Annie, Kody, Konnor, Hagan, Loralee, Ethan, Brendan, Makayla, Gracie, Beckham, Bode, Kaden, Kristian, Mattie and Baby Ward. She is also survived by her 10 siblings and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic School, 350 Emery Street, Longmont, CO 80501.
