He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Kenneth Cavanaugh and Elizabeth Eve Cavanaugh (Lawson); and his brother Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Clifford Cavanaugh; his children, Kenneth Cavanaugh Jr. (Donna) of Austin, TX, Dr. Kevin Cavanaugh (Jean) of Longmont, CO, Dr. Keith Cavanaugh (Maggie) of Shoreview, MN, Kathryn Cavanaugh of Austin, TX and Kerry Cavanaugh (Meg) of London, England.; his grandchildren, Caroline Bove (Cavanaugh), Kailey, Kristen, Avery, Harry, Anne, Patrick, Mary Kate, William, Conor, Liam and Kate; and his brothers, Charles (Ann), George (Mary Kay) and John (Cathy). He is also survived by his 19 nieces and nephews.
