He was predeceased by: his parents, Arne Gustav and Majken Elfrida Bilen (Bengtsson); his daughter Katrina Mai Downey; and his grandson Evan Leif Bilen. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Schnebly (Evalyn Sue); his daughter Melinda Thornberry (Ty); his grandchildren, Emma and Ian; his son Tom Bilen (Molly); his granddaughter Mia; his son-in-law Neal Downey; and his grandsons, Jake and Luke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Samaritan's Purse.
