She is survived by: her sister Helen; her husband Arthur Henry Jones; her children, Grant, McCarren, Bernard, Lyons, Leslie Jones, Ted Jones and Patricia Bedell; her grandchildren, Erin, Michaela, Maris, Luke and Sarah; and her great grandchildren, Christian and Henry.
Marilyn chose to donate her body to science, supporting medical research in a final act of generosity.
